Mixed Bag

We decided on Heil and Picture Rock for today’s ride. The morning started off ok. It was warm, the sun was shining, but by the time the guys had stopped at my house the weather was changing. A couple of drops, but North looked ok. So, off we went. It was cloudy as we headed up Wapiti. The climb was nice, there were plenty of people out and about, but we should have known changes were afoot. Keith left his helmet at the car, so he went back. Stu and I continued up to wait for him.
The weather was changing very fast now. Rain, ice, snow, thunder, and lightening! Twenty minutes in and keith was still a no show.
The rocks were very slippery and we made the decision to head back to the car, where Keith was casually sitting warm and dry.
So a interrupted ride ended up in my basement with Left Hand Milk Stout and the A-Team.
